Red Bull X-ALPS 2023

In 2023, I was commissioned to follow Nova’s team pilot, Nick Donini, during the Red Bull X-Alps. This hike-and-fly endurance race required the team to move across the Alps (from Kitzbühel to Mont Blanc and back to Zell am See) during long and physically demanding days.

The project required strong adaptability. I had to cover long driving distances, hike an average of 1,000 meters of elevation almost daily, and be ready to shoot whenever the situation unfolded. Working in constantly changing weather and light conditions was part of the challenge.

The documentary approach focused on showing the full picture behind the race, highlighting the teamwork, logistics, and daily effort required to support Nick throughout the competition and help him reach the final goal in Zell am See.
